CARETAKER – Based at Sir Thomas Boughey Academy

37 hours per week – Whole Year – Starting as soon as possible

Grade 5 – £21968 starting salary

United Endeavour Trust is a Multi Academy Trust comprising of Clayton Hall Academy, Newcastle Academy and Sir Thomas Boughey Academy.

We have an opportunity for someone to join our team at United Endeavour Trust who will be based at Sir Thomas Boughey Academy.

We will offer a comprehensive training package for the right applicant, experience of working within the education or maintenance sector is not a requirement for the post and we would welcome applicants from other industries including those from the retail sector, labourers and those who have a keen interest in DIY.

Your responsibilities will range from unlocking premises/sites as required, general maintenance, site clearance and securing premises/site. You will be working 5 days per week which will include some early/late shift work. The working pattern will be discussed further at the interview stage.

We would welcome the opportunity to give you a tour of our academy, meet the estates team and have an informal discussion on the post and duties.

Contractually holidays should be taken during school closure periods but holidays during the school term can be considered.

You will be able to communicate effectively with staff, students and community users. You will also have a flexible and practical approach and a “can do” attitude.
